Zeenat and Faisal brought together family and friends from across the world for a destination wedding shaped by meaningful connections, refined details and genuine emotions.
Through a combination of candid storytelling and editorial imagery, I wanted their wedding film to preserve not only the beauty of Bellevue Syrene, but everything that made the celebration uniquely theirs.
For Zeenat, choosing Italy was not simply about finding a beautiful destination. It was about returning to a country that had been part of her life since childhood.
Years later, her time studying in Rome deepened that connection. When she and Faisal began imagining their wedding, Italy became the place where those memories could meet a new chapter of their story.
Sorrento offered a Mediterranean setting where family and friends from different parts of the world could come together.
Their wedding at Bellevue Syrene brought those people together in a place that already held a special meaning for Zeenat.
For me, the interesting part was never just the beauty of Sorrento. It was the relationship between the place, the people and the memories they were creating together.
The destination was part of the story, but it was never the whole story.

The setting was defined by an ivory and blue colour palette, hydrangeas, chandeliers and delicate floral details. Everything worked in harmony with the historic atmosphere of Bellevue Syrene and its position overlooking the Mediterranean.
Yet what interested me most as a filmmaker was the contrast between the carefully considered design and the moments that happened naturally throughout the wedding day.
I wanted the film to preserve both. The editorial beauty of the setting, but also the emotions, gestures and interactions that could never be recreated.
Because a beautiful destination deserves beautiful images. But the people are what make those images meaningful.
Every wedding has its own identity. That is why I do not believe in arriving with a predetermined idea of what the film should become.
For Zeenat and Faisal, I wanted to preserve the relationship between their story, the atmosphere of Bellevue Syrene and the genuine moments unfolding throughout the wedding day.
My approach combines documentary storytelling with a refined editorial aesthetic. I pay attention to composition and movement, but I never want beautiful images to come at the expense of authenticity.
As a destination wedding videographer in Sorrento and throughout Italy, I see the location as part of the narrative, never as a substitute for the people who give the day its meaning.
I do not film appearances. I tell what was truly lived.

The architecture, Mediterranean light and sea views offer a rich visual setting. My approach is to use those surroundings while keeping the couple, their emotions and the spontaneous moments of the celebration at the centre of the film.
